Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready to assist in property maintenance, ensuring units meet standards before new residents move in. Tasks include repairs, painting, appliance installation, and system checks under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role requires regular on-site attendance, coordination with the maintenance team, and adherence to safety practices per OSHA guidelines while supporting common areas and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes: corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in; repair/replace fixtures, paint, install appliances, check plumbing/electrical systems.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in inventory monitoring and record-keeping for service requests.
