Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic at the Suncoast Chemicals Plant in Clearwater, FL. You will maintain and repair production equipment, set up lines, and support daily production efficiency.
The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. You will lead junior technicians, wear PPE, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

This position reports to Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor and is responsible for all maintenance, repair and modifications needed to maintain company’s equipment and support systems in the process of raw and finished goods. Set up of equipment and working with the production departments to ensure production and efficiencies are met daily. Mechanic is responsible to ensure equipment runs properly on any lines. Responsible for the training, repair, removal and installation of machines and equipment, as needed by production .
Installs, set ups, and maintains production equipmentto support efficient operations (from basic setup to advanced troubleshooting, depending on experience).
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issueson production lines and support equipment.
Operates and maintains power and hand toolssafely for repair and preventive maintenance tasks.
Tests and replaces electrical componentssuch as fuses, cords, and plugs, using meters and probes.
Reads and interprets measurements, technical drawings, and wiring diagramsto perform setups, repairs, or upgrades.
Collaborates with peers and support teamsto resolve production issues and keep lines running smoothly.
Assists with equipment upgrades, modifications, and part fabrication(advanced roles), including basic welding and wiring of circuits up to 480V.
Leads, trains, and directs junior technicians(advanced roles) to ensure task completion and knowledge sharing.
Works safely with chemicals and wear appropriate PPEsuch as respirators, when required.
Supports continuous improvementby maintaining detailed records and participating in ongoing training.

At least 5 years of experience in production maintenance or similar.
High school diploma or GED required.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to learn new systems and tools—advanced knowledge preferred for senior roles.
Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to teamwork.
Leadership and project management skillspreferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
Position requires the ability to wear a respirator and comply with the company’s Respiratory Protection Program.
