Job summary

Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Pinellas County. You will run lines, inspect materials and finished goods, and help ensure accurate weights and lot dates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include adjusting processes to meet specifications, coordinating with material handlers, and performing clean changeovers while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout a 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Meets basic mathematical and organizational requirements.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude for production tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
• Maintain product weight within item specifications.
• Ensure correct Lot Code dates on packages and masters.
• Monitor hoppers/tanks and coordinate with material handler to stock levels.
• Monitor product appearance and adjust within specifications.
• Perform efficient product changeovers and maintain housekeeping.

What to Expect?

This position reports to the production manager and is responsible for operating lines in accordance with work instructions to produce a quality product. You will need to troubleshoot machinery, communicate, and work efficiently with the team in fast-pace environment during a 10 hour day with 2 paid breaks.

On a daily basis our Machine Operator:

• Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products
• Maintain product weight within item specifications
• Ensure proper Lot Code dates are correct on package and masters correctly
• Monitor material in hoppers or reservoir tanks and work in conjunction with the material handler and team lead to ensure hoppers or tanks are adequately stocked.
• Monitor appearance of the product and make corrections within specifications
• Perform efficient product changeovers and perform general housekeeping duties

What You Will Need:

• Highschool diploma/GED
• Stooping, lifting, bending, and standing long hours while operating equipment
• Mathematical, organizational, and mechanical skills in production
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Verbal and written skills
• Pass FIT testing and respirator certified
