Pinch A Penny Suncoast Chemicals is seeking a production operator to run lines, inspect products, and support a fast-paced manufacturing team in Clearwater, FL. You will troubleshoot machinery, maintain weight specs, and ensure correct lot codes while coordinating with materials and shift leads.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long hours.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and mechanical skills for production.
• Must have good verbal and written communication; able to pass FIT testing and respirator certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
• Maintain product weight within item specifications.
• Ensure correct Lot Code dates and master labeling.
• Monitor hoppers or tanks and coordinate with material handler and team lead.
• Monitor appearance and correct deviations within specs.
• Execute product changeovers efficiently and perform housekeeping.

What to Expect?

This position reports to the production manager and is responsible for operating lines in accordance with work instructions to produce a quality product. You will need to troubleshoot machinery, communicate, and work efficiently with the team in fast-pace environment during a 10 hour day with 2 paid breaks.

• Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products
• Maintain product weight within item specifications
• Ensure proper Lot Code dates are correct on package and masters correctly
• Monitor material in hoppers or reservoir tanks and work in conjunction with the material handler and team lead to ensure hoppers or tanks are adequately stocked.
• Monitor appearance of the product and make corrections within specifications
• Perform efficient product changeovers and perform general housekeeping duties
