Job summary

Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a warehouse/inventory associate at our Clearwater, FL facility. The role involves assisting line setups, stocking production stations, counting and reconciling materials, and ensuring safe, organized materials flow.

Responsibilities include material transfers, quality checks, and operating equipment like the Dayton hoist and AS400 system. Candidates should be organized, able to lift up to 60 pounds, and have forklift experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Lift up to 60 pounds with a team lift.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Full-range peripheral vision to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists line setup for all lines in any department, bringing in materials and reconciling leftovers.
• Monitors inventory to ensure stations are stocked during the shift.
• Counts items before transfers and performs reconciliations.
• Performs quality inspections of incoming materials and ensures proper staging.
• Monitors materials inventory and replenishes as needed.
• Assists inventory supervisor with counts and adjustments.
• Communicates safety issues to supervisors and team leaders.
• Operates hoist and AS400 system, pallets, wraps, and labels items.
• Maintains housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

What to Expect?

• Assists line setup for all lines in any department. This will consist of bringing in raw materials, hanging super sacks, and any product left over after the run will need to be reconciled and transferred out to the warehouse.
• Monitors pails, lids, masters, and any other materials needed to ensure production stations are adequately stocked throughout the shift.
• Physically count items before transfers, reconciles, and RTS.
• Performs quality inspections of incoming materials received from the warehouse and ensure all incoming materials is staged in an organized and safe manner.
• Monitors the inventory of materials in the production area and replenish.
• Assists the inventory supervisor tracking the counts of incoming/outgoing materials and making appropriate adjustments.
• Strong communication skills with department supervisor and team leader and communicate to appropriate sources of any unsafe condition.
• Operates the Dayton hoist and follow procedure and operate the AS400 system.
• Able to palletize, wrap, write an inventory ticket, scan finished products, and ensure each material is palletized in accordance with specifications.
• Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Any other duties, as assigned.
