Job summary

POOLCORP's Pinch A Penny Suncoast Chemicals Plant in Clearwater, FL is hiring for a production-focused role. Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with pay starting at $24 per hour. This on-site position offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and comprehensive PTO.

You will monitor production schedules, perform first article inspections, train new staff, manage materials, uphold 5S+ standards, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing policy on Safety, PPE, housekeeping, and operation standards.
• Be highly organized with ability to prioritize and attention to detail.
• Understand basic industrial math skills.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and AS400 (J.D. Edwards).
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ability to delegate with empathy toward team.

Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the production schedule and ensure department standards are met.
• Perform quality checks; first article inspections and in-process checks to ensure lines meet Suncoast standards.
• Train new employees in department functions and provide ongoing training to the team.
• Monitor incoming packaging and chemical materials to keep production uninterrupted.
• Maintain 5S+ standards in the department.
• Dispose of non-conforming material appropriately.
• Document lot codes as needed.
• Sign off on clean out and shutdown procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What to Expect

• Understand and communicate the production schedule and ensures department standards are met.
• Perform quality checks; First article inspections and in-process check to ensure lines are producing to the Suncoast standard.
• Train new employees in different department functions such as basic floor processes, product flow and procedures, provide on-going training to the team as required.
• Monitor incoming packaging and chemical materials so that the production station runs uninterrupted throughout the shift.
• Maintain Suncoast 5S+ standards in the department.
• Dispositions segregated non-conforming material.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of chemical liners, supersacks, and other packaging remnants.
• Document lot codes in the department as needed.
• Sign off on clean out and shut down procedures.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

What You Will Need
