Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a Facilities Mechanic in Clearwater, FL. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility systems, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair components to keep operations running smoothly.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will maintain logs, safety compliance, and assist with new equipment installs. A High School Diploma/GED is required with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Technical certification or trade school training preferred.
• 2+ years of facility/building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and maintenance software preferred.
• Clean background and Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
• Repair or replace defective components, motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments safely.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or machinery.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and maintenance shops.
• Participate in after-hours or on-call maintenance coverage when required.
