Pinch A Penny Suncoast Chemicals Plant is seeking a Production Lead to ensure daily production goals are met, maintain quality, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and follow production schedule to meet daily goals.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure product quality.
• Train new employees in department processes and procedures.
• Monitor incoming materials to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Maintain 5S+ standards and proper disposal of packaging remnants.
• Document lot codes and sign off on cleanup/shutdown procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities as needed.

Monday - Thursday 5:00AM - 3:00PM

Starting at $24 / hour

What to Expect?

The Production Lead is responsible for meeting daily departmental production goals while maintaining on time delivery to the production schedule and ensuring quality in produced product. A key position in our production team, the Production Lead must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

On a daily basis our Production Lead:

• Understands and communicates the production schedule and ensures department standards are met.

• Performs quality checks; First article inspections and in-process check to ensure lines are producing to the Suncoast standard.

• Trains new employees in different department functions such as, basic floor processes, product flow and procedures, provide on-going training to the team as required.

• Monitors incoming packaging and chemical materials so that the production station runs un-interrupted throughout the shift.

• Maintains Suncoast 5S+ standards in the department.

• Dispositions segregated non-conforming material.

• Ensures proper removal and disposal of chemical liners, supersacks, and other packaging remnants.

• Documents lot codes in the department as needed.

• Signs off on clean out and shut down procedures.

• Any other duties, as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing company policy on Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), housekeeping, material handling and operation standards.

• Extremely well organized with an ability to prioritize work with a keen eye for detail.

• Understanding of basic industrial math skills.

• Proficient with MS Office suite and AS400 (J.D. Edwards).

• Looks for and communicates opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Ability to delegate with empathy and compassion toward other employees.
