PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks at our apartment communities, ensuring safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, preventative maintenance, and on-call rotation. Requires a high school diploma, 1+ year maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II preferred, and ability to work weekends. Must live within 30 miles of the property and provide own hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate on-call rotation.
• Ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist supervisor with inventory monitoring of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain customer service standards.
• Adhere to safety, policies and procedures; keep area organized and clean.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and staff.
• Assist with budget adherence and maintenance programs.
• Participate in hazard communications program.
• Inspect property to minimize liability concerns.
• Maintain records and assist with upkeep of offices and common areas.
• Support exterior maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Perform pool maintenance and chemical logs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
