Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of upkeep tasks across an apartment community. The role emphasizes resident service, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, is capable of troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and can work on an on-call schedule. Live within 30 miles of the property and support a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs in a thorough, timely manner.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards with residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document the work performed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, vendors, and supervisors.
• Contribute to budgeting efforts and adherence to maintenance programs.
