Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure physical aspects of properties meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors for make-ready tasks to prepare units for new residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining inventory, documenting requests, and supporting cost-control efforts while working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State/Local certifications required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, schedules vendors, and inspects work.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and addressing safety-related tasks.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
