Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing defects from resident requests, performing repairs, making units ready for new move-ins, and maintaining inventory with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs; flexible schedule and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes make-ready preparations for vacant units (inspections, punch lists, scheduling).
• Tracks materials and inventory, returns unused items, notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas (cleaning, painting, trash removal) and assists in cost-control by repairs when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
