Job summary

Greystar is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our properties. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems, grounds, and common areas to ensure safety and appeal.

This role requires completing work orders, preparing vacant units, managing inventory, and assisting with safety compliance and inspections. Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• Valid state/local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and prepare for leasing.
• Access and requisition materials, track inventory, and notify for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible and safe.
