Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties. The role focuses on keeping buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional according to company standards.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, completing preventative maintenance, making-ready vacant units, managing supplies, documenting work, and supporting cost-control measures. EPA certifications and a valid driver's license are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required for Certified Service Technicians.
• State and Local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling of vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify re-ordering needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Assist in grounds and common-area upkeep: trash removal, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost-saving efforts by repairing parts when possible rather than replacing.
