Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our properties meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining outdoor and indoor spaces.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, tracking inventory, and documenting all service activities. The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays per site needs.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable)
• OSHA safety training and compliance as required by state/local laws

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Obtains materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities (trash removal, pressure-washing, cleaning, painting).
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible and using materials efficiently.
