Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property. You will diagnose defects, carry out repairs, and ensure all building systems meet safety and cleanliness standards.

The role covers making-ready tasks for vacant units, vendor coordination, and inventory control. Applicants should have EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses as required, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for record-keeping and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and basic upkeep.
