Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service the buildings and grounds at its communities. You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, and complete make-readies for vacant units while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for property vehicles. The position includes on-site work, routine inspections, and collaboration with a property team.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing through the make-ready process and punch list of needed maintenance.
• Tracks inventory, materials, and coordinates with the maintenance supervisor on re-ordering.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts.
