Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Service Technician to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, manage make-ready inspections and coordinate with vendors while following policy, safety rules and code requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating a punch list.
• Manages materials, supplies and tools from the maintenance department; tracks usage and re-orders as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to ensure traceability.
• Maintains grounds, amenities, and common areas by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing parts when possible rather than replacing.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
