Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property—buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventory, document actions, help with grounds and painting, and support cost-control efforts. EPA certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; on-site work with flexible hours is expected.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications as applicable.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs according to policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, from pre-move-out to punch list, coordinating vendors and supplies.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests accurately and timely.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance; performs cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools effectively.
