Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical condition and safety of buildings, grounds, and common areas. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing issues, preparing vacant units for leasing, managing materials, and documenting work orders.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided in a large multi-market platform.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source or cause of defects and perform repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and perform general cleaning as needed.
