Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform make-readies, and maintain grounds and amenities.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for on-site operations, and flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All required state/local certifications must be current.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles (e.g., golf cart).
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing to policy and code.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks materials, supplies, and tools; notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for timely recording and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts and using resources efficiently.
