Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property facilities meet safety and quality standards. The role includes completing work orders, making-ready tasks for new leases, inventory management, and upkeep of grounds and amenities.

Responsibilities emphasize safety compliance, documentation, and efficient use of tools. On-site schedule includes weekdays with on-call rotation; EPA refrigerant certifications and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are tracked accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications

State and Local jurisdictions certifications

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
