Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role requires 1–2 years of property maintenance experience, basic electrical and plumbing skills, and a valid driver’s license.

The position includes making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and periodic inspections, with possible on-call work and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years property maintenance experience required.
• Maintenance, or at least handy man experience required.
• Basic electrical and plumbing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant homes and inspects completed work.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes paperwork promptly to document service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and assists with cost-control measures.
