Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality across buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, manage the make-readies for vacant homes, track inventory, and support safety and risk management efforts in a fast-paced property environment.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) required.
• State and local certifications as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart or vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on property systems and structures.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory of materials and returns unused items to the correct location; notifies supervisor about re-order needs.
• Documents service activities accurately to support maintenance records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports cost-control by using parts efficiently and following tool safety procedures.
