Job summary

Kansas City Residence Inn - Atrium Hospitality is seeking a part-time maintenance technician in Kansas City, MO. You will perform scheduled maintenance, document work orders, and troubleshoot basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to keep guest rooms and facilities in top condition.

The role includes pool maintenance, basic equipment repair, landscaping tasks, and operation of hand tools and power equipment. Prior hotel maintenance experience is valued; physical stamina is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.

Compensation Range : $20.48-$21.50
