Job summary

Kansas City Residence Inn - Atrium Hospitality is hiring a maintenance technician to perform scheduled preventative tasks in guest rooms and public areas. You will document work orders, troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, and handle repairs on hotel equipment while maintaining pool systems and grounds.

Ideal candidates bring general maintenance experience, ability to lift 25 lbs regularly, and the stamina to stand and move for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
