Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Daly City to oversee and perform technical and mechanical tasks across community facilities. You will handle resident requests, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units to ensure market-ready readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and hands-on skills with boiler systems, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and general maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal/external contacts.
• Proficiency with office software; PM system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for financial and administrative documents.

Aufgaben

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by other team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies within budget.
