Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in San Mateo to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety and cleanliness standards. The role covers maintenance of units, common areas, and grounds, with on-call rotation and 3–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Seasonal maintenance tasks: pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Maintains inventory, tracks materials, and reports re-orders to the maintenance supervisor.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
