Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in San Jose to perform technical and routine maintenance ensuring the property meets safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. The role involves hands-on painting, plumbing, electrical work, and diagnostics, with experience in Yardi or HappyCo preferred.

The position requires 1-2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA certifications, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with property maintenance platforms such as Yardi and HappyCo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready processes for vacant units and inspect work.
• Track materials, inventory, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service activity accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and assist with safety compliance.
• Support cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts.
