Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Pointe at Lake Murray in Irmo, SC. The role covers corrective, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance, including pool care and on-site repairs, under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Candidate will handle work orders, inventory, and safety protocols, with on-call responsibilities. A high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance processes for the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and keep accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend property life and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain inventory, records, and safety compliance; participate in unit inspections as needed.
• Assist with on-call emergency duties and general upkeep of offices and common areas.

Education
