Job summary

Asset Living in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in performing maintenance tasks across our community properties. You will handle corrective, preventative, and cosmetic work under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include on-site repairs in common areas and units, scheduling maintenance events, pool care with logs, safety compliance, and contributing to a clean, safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance and onsite duties.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
• Assist with scheduling and executing maintenance/turn events.
• Maintain exterior areas and pool with logs and chemical records.
• Inspect property daily for hazards and uphold safety standards.
• Follow hazard communications and OSHA guidelines; keep records up to date.
• Assist with make-ready status and inventory of supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and resident relations.
• On-call emergencies and on-site availability as needed.
