Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors and common areas meet quality and safety standards. The role includes completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units at a Garden property in New York, with an on-site schedule Monday–Friday plus on-call rotations.

Expect to maintain grounds, assist with general upkeep, manage inventory, and document tasks accurately.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required (Type 1/2 or Universal).
• State/local certification requirements as applicable.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Access materials and track inventory, returning unused items to storage.
• Document service activities timely and accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with painting and general upkeep.
