Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to handle work orders, diagnose and repair issues, and complete the make-ready process for vacant units. You will also manage inventory, document service requests, and maintain common areas in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires flexibility for on-call shifts, adherence to safety standards, and a proactive approach to cost savings by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Qualifications

• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to follow safety policies and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and diagnose defects for repairs.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Track materials and equipment from the maintenance department and notify for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving efforts by repairing parts when possible.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance as scheduled.
• Be flexible with schedule and on-call responsibilities.
