Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work that keeps the property clean, safe, and functional. The role covers buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas with a focus on quality standards and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready tasks for leasing, inventory control, safety compliance, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and repairing according to policy and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready processes to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work and ensures service requests are recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities, performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
