Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician for our Lakeland, FL property. The role covers routine maintenance, preventative work, and make-ready tasks to ensure quality, safe, and inviting apartment communities.

You will manage work orders, track inventories, and help maintain common areas. Responsibilities include on-site inspections, weatherproofing, minor repairs, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification types 1 & 2 or universal.
• State/Local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance following safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments to prepare for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
