Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, support make-ready processes, and assist with material management. The role requires safe operation, documentation accuracy, and a willingness to work flexible hours on-site.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Access and manage materials, equipment, and supplies from maintenance inventory.
• Document work in a timely, accurate manner for tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting tasks.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
