Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and supporting make-ready efforts at on-site properties.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inventory control, documentation, and assistance in grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant homes, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Accesses materials and tracks inventory from the maintenance department and notifies when re-orders are needed.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.
