Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform and oversee maintenance tasks across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational functionality. The role includes handling work orders, making-ready processes, inventory control, and inspections to support resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins by performing inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are finished.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, return unused items, and notify the maintenance supervisor about re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to track service requests accurately.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
