Job summary

Greystar in Hawaii seeks a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of our apartment communities. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, complete make-readies for new move-ins, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards.

Flexible schedule with on-call rotation and potential bonuses. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance/repair experience.
• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors when needed.
• Access and track materials, equipment, and tools from maintenance to ensure timely replenishment.
• Document service requests thoroughly for proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Support cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
