Job summary

Cambridge Management, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to preserve and upkeep our communities in Hawaii. Under supervision, you will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and make-ready tasks while ensuring OSHA safety standards are followed.

You will respond to service requests, coordinate tasks with the maintenance team, and deliver excellent resident and vendor service. Flexibility for on-call and seasonal duties is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 6-month minimum maintenance experience required.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them per OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Maintain community appearance by safe upkeep and repairs.
• Accurately record service requests and make-readies in OneSite.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, notices, and inspections.
• Participate in on-call and snow removal activities.
