Job summary

Greystar is looking for a Service Technician to maintain apartment communities in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The role covers routine maintenance, preventative work, and on-call duties to ensure safety and quality across buildings and common areas.

You will handle work orders, prepare units for leasing, manage inventory, and document work processes while following safety standards. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in maintenance or related field.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to support tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assists in cost-control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
