Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of mid-rise properties. You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, perform make-readies for new move-ins, and assist in keeping common areas safe and clean.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicle use, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-site, full-time with opportunities for performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks inventory and secures materials, returning unused items to the proper location.
• Documents service requests thoroughly to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
