Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Fairfield, CA to handle routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks across the property. You will complete work orders, prepare units for leasing, and assist in maintaining grounds and amenities while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible schedule with on-call duties and potential incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues per code and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and schedule vendors as needed.
• Track and manage inventory, returning items to proper locations and informing supervisor on re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
