Richman Property Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX, with 40-hour weeks and on-call rotation. You will perform daily repairs, prepare units for occupancy, manage work orders, and ensure safety and compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I/II or Universal preferred; may sponsor within 75 days.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance/general repair experience; groundskeeper experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain OSHA and The Clean Air Act compliance.
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
• Complete required tasks, logs, and reports on time.
• Uphold company policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Seek educational opportunities for growth and development.
• Assist in preventative maintenance planning.
• Collaborate to maintain curb appeal and building grounds.
• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime.

Join our growing Maintenance Operations Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Austin, TX!

This position is eligible for our brand new "Texas Stay Program", which is designed to reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and financially support RPS new-hires along the way! You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS as follows: after 90-days $500.00, after 6 months, $1,000.00, after one year of service, $1,500.00. All bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes and dates, and are taxable. Employee must be active at the time of the scheduled payout date.

Location: Cyrus, our brand new 263-unit residential community located in Austin, TX 78723 (Northeast)

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week, on-call/weekend rotation required

Key Qualifications:

• EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA, but posses the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days on the job.
• Valid Driver's License is required for this position
• Minimum of 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, new construction experience preferred

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
