Job summary

The Greystar property in Humble, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold building systems, safety, and appearance. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with make-ready processes for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to OSHA safety standards. Onsite duties include grounds upkeep and occasional after-hours call coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license to operate property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing via the make-ready process.
• Track materials, inventory, and coordinate re-orders with the maintenance team.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and accountability.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts.
