Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in Tigard, Oregon. The role performs maintenance requests, preventative tasks, make-ready processes, and general property upkeep to ensure high-quality living environments.

You will follow safety policies, document work, and assist in inspections and cost-control efforts. EPA refrigerant certifications are required, along with a valid driver’s license for site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendors, supplies, and inspections of work.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, return unused items, and notify the maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to record and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, trash removal, pressure-washing, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, and by using tools and materials efficiently.
• Complies with safety and risk-management policies; attends safety trainings and reports incidents promptly.
• May inspect work performed by contractors or vendors to verify quality standards.
• Assists in routine inspections to identify safety concerns and communicates needs to management.
