Job summary

Greystar in Santa Maria, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep building systems, grounds, and common areas safe and functional. You will diagnose defects, repair issues, and perform preventive maintenance on the property to meet company standards.

Requirements include 1-2 years of maintenance experience, experience with turn renovation and work orders, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. The role offers a competitive benefits package and a schedule Tue-Sat, 9am-6pm.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience (Experience with Turn Renovation & Work Orders)
• Experience with safety policies and procedures is expected.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Schedules vendors/contractors and coordinates materials as needed.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
