Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Santa Clarita, CA to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems meet company standards for safety and functionality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience.
• Proficiency Troubleshooting & Repairs.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing the make-ready process and inspecting work.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities and performs general cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
