Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for our Bradenton, FL community. This role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, complete make-readies for new residents, track inventory, assist with safety inspections, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, along with

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1, II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• As required by state/local jurisdictions, all certifications must be valid.
• Flexibility to work on-call evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and amenities per safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials from maintenance department and track inventory.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting curbs.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
