Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a lease-up property in San Marcos, CA. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new residents.

The role requires 3 years of leasing experience (2 years lease up) and EPA refrigerant certifications. You will handle work orders, manage inventory, and support safety and quality standards across the property.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leasing experience, 2 years of lease up experience required.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant homes for leasing by completing inspections and creating punch lists.
• Manages materials and parts inventory, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs.
